An HRV app that compares you with you.

Lumi Moods reads the HRV your Apple Watch records in Apple Health and shows it against your own usual range, so you can tell whether today is normal for you.
Lumi Moods is not released yet. It is coming soon to the App Store, so nothing on this page can be tried today.
What Lumi Moods shows
- Your latest HRV reading, with how old it is.
- A shaded band showing your normal range, worked out from your own history.
- Your trend: rising, stable or falling.
- Your HRV as one part of your energy score, alongside sleep, resting heart rate and more.
- Days with very low HRV, marked on your 30-day Calendar with the reason.
Why HRV numbers differ between apps
Apps can use different methods and measure at different moments, so two apps can show different numbers for the same person on the same day. Lumi Moods reads Apple's recorded value, which Apple reports as SDNN. A number from one app should not be compared with a number from another. It is more useful to compare a reading with your own past readings from the same source.
What Lumi Moods does not do
Lumi Moods does not measure HRV itself. It relies on what Apple Health has recorded, so readings can be missing or late, and it cannot make them more accurate. HRV in Lumi Moods is a wellness signal, not a diagnosis.
What it costs
Lumi Moods will include a 7-day free trial of everything, then cost a planned $3.99 a month or $29 a year. Today's energy meter, your choice of companion, breathing, today's live values, the last 7 days, medication reminders and safety features stay free.
