A stress app for your Apple Watch.

Lumi Moods estimates your physical stress from your heart data, shows it on your Apple Watch, and offers a guided breath when your body seems under strain.
Lumi Moods is not released yet. It is coming soon to the App Store, so nothing on this page can be tried today.
How the stress estimate works
Apple Health has no stress reading of its own, so Lumi Moods calculates one. It looks at how far your HRV sits from your usual level and how far your heart rate sits above resting. It waits while you are moving, and it ignores HRV readings older than 6 hours. The result is an estimate, and it cannot tell why your body is under strain.
On your wrist
- A clock with Lumi in the middle, the hours around it and the minutes on the outer ring.
- An energy ring that changes colour with your score.
- Widgets for your watch face, showing what you choose, such as energy, HRV, oxygen or sleep.
- Guided breathing: starts in 3, 2, 1, then in for 4, hold for 2 and out for 6, with taps on your wrist.
What to expect
Apple Watch limits how often apps can update in the background, so a number on your watch face can be some minutes behind. Apple does not allow fully custom watch faces from other apps, so Lumi Moods appears as widgets on the faces you already use, and as a clock inside its own app. So far the Watch app has run on the simulator and still has to be tested on a real wrist.
What it costs
Lumi Moods will include a 7-day free trial of everything, then cost a planned $3.99 a month or $29 a year. Today's energy meter, your choice of companion, breathing, today's live values, the last 7 days, medication reminders and safety features stay free.
